A limited repair
Repair is practical when compatible materials can be connected to sound surrounding roofing. Color can differ because existing shingles have weathered.
Roof repairs
A clear scope starts with the roof in front of us.
Missing shingles are one sign of wind damage. Check the covering, attachment and edges before deciding how far the repair needs to go.
Wind can lift a shingle, break its seal, crease it or remove it altogether. The damaged area needs attention to the shingle courses and the connections beneath them. Replacing the visible missing piece is only enough when the surrounding roof still gives the repair sound support.
We inspect the affected covering, exposed underlayment and roof edges. Loose flashing or edge material can create a separate water path. If the roof has been patched before, that work also needs to connect properly to the new repair.

The roof relies on both fasteners and material-specific seals. A repair needs to restore the intended connection.
| Roof detail | Repair concern |
|---|---|
| Lifted but present shingle | Check whether the material is damaged and whether a compatible repair can restore the seal. |
| Creased or torn shingle | Assess replacement of damaged material and the condition of the courses around it. |
| Missing covering | Examine exposed underlayment, fastener holes and supporting deck before tying in new covering. |
| Roof edge or flashing | Rebuild the attachment and water-shedding connection as needed, rather than covering a loose edge with sealant. |
The size of the affected area and the surrounding condition decide the roofing scope.

Roof repairsBroad damage, brittle material across the roof or supporting-layer failures can make repeated small repairs unsuitable.
Roof replacementSome wind-affected shingles are repairable with an appropriate method. Creased, torn or otherwise unsuitable material needs a different scope. The material and manufacturer requirements govern.
No. You can request help from what you noticed safely on the ground or indoors. Roof edges and loose material add hazards after wind.
Call and mention the open area or active water entry. Temporary protection depends on safe access, weather and the roof’s condition.
Share the damage you noticed and the property location. We can start with a free roof inspection.
