A clear scope starts with the roof in front of us.
Find help for the roof problem you have, from a leaking detail to a complete residential or commercial reroof.
You do not need to know the name of the roof component before contacting us. The first job is to establish what is failing and how far the work needs to extend.
| What you noticed | What needs checking | Useful starting point |
|---|---|---|
| A ceiling stain or water entry | The path from the roof opening through decking and other layers, including nearby walls and roof penetrations. | Start with roof leak repair |
| A missing or broken shingle | The damaged covering, fasteners, underlayment and condition of adjoining shingles. | Explore roof repair |
| A roof approaching a wider renewal | The covering, deck, flashing, ventilation and old roof layers as one replacement scope. | Plan roof replacement |
| A leak in a low-slope commercial roof | Membrane seams, drains, curbs, attachment and the possibility of wet insulation. | See commercial roofing |
Roof repair covers more than swapping a shingle. A pipe boot seals around a plumbing vent; step flashing moves water down the roof where it meets a wall; valley material carries runoff where slopes meet. Repairing the wrong part leaves the water path open.
We look at the failure and the roof around it. Replacement shingles need to work with the existing covering, and the surrounding material must tolerate opening and resealing. Rotten decking or a failed wall connection can extend the work beyond the first visible mark.

A replacement gives the roofer access to the deck and the connections beneath the covering. Select the roof covering with those supporting details in mind.

Explore this serviceFor a building owner, the useful question is how to protect the property while choosing an appropriate roof scope.
A localized seam, puncture, drain or curb problem can be repaired when the surrounding membrane and supporting layers are sound.
Flat roof repairsA compatible coating needs a sound, properly prepared substrate. Existing moisture and damaged layers must be resolved before restoration.
Roof coatingsWider membrane failure, wet layers or unsuitable existing construction can call for tear-off or a carefully evaluated recover.
Commercial reroofingThe final price follows the work and site conditions. A short repair and a whole-roof replacement use different labor, access and material assumptions.
| Cost driver | Why it changes the work |
|---|---|
| Size and geometry | More roof area needs more material. Valleys, dormers and separate slopes add cutting and detail work. |
| Access and protection | Height, steep slopes, landscaping and places for material handling affect how work is carried out. |
| Layers and concealed damage | Extra removal and damaged deck or insulation add work that a surface view cannot fully establish. |
| System selection | Shingles, metal panels and low-slope membranes have different assembly and attachment needs. |

No. The extent of damage, surrounding roof condition and repair compatibility determine the construction scope. The storm damage page explains the assessment
Yes. Gutters, drip edges, fascia and roof-to-wall transitions can affect how water leaves the roof. We explain the connection in gutter repair and replacement
